Keith stays as leader
In a full council meeting held today , Cllr Keith Evans was re elected as Leader of Ceredigion County Council.
This follows the creation of a ruling group comprising 23 Independent, Liberal Democrat and Labour Members.
The opposition group will be the Plaid Cymru group comprising of 19 Members and led by Cllr Ellen ap Gwynn.
The new Chairperson was also elected as Cllr Odwyn Davies and the Vice Chairperson, Cllr Ifor Williams. Both will be inaugurated at the annual meeting to be held at 7pm at the Council Chamber on Friday, May 16th.
