A BLAENPORTH woman has avoided being banned from the road for using a mobile phone while driving.
Camwy Meleri Griffiths, 37, admitted using a mobile phone while driving at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 14.
She was caught on February 25 on the A48 Tanerdy-Glantowy.
She initially denied the charge but changed her plea.
She avoided a driving ban due to mitigating circumstances but was fined £238, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £310 costs.
