A man was ordered to pay compensation for threatening behaviour.
Dafydd Havard, 32, of Waungilwen, Velindre, admitted three charges at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on November 24.
He admitted a count of using threatening/abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress for an incident that took place on October 23 at Llanybydder.
He was ordered to pay £100 compensation and given a community order for the offence. He has to carry out 120 hours unpaid work and complete a rehabilitation activity requirement. He also had to pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
He also admitted a count of driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and also driving without insurance. Both charges relate to the above date.
He was given eight points on his licence and fined £400.
