A 19-YEAR-OLD has admitted a series of drug offences in Ceredigion.

Ethan Bablak-Land, of Cryfryn Row in Aberystwyth, appeared at Swansea Crown Court alongside his co-defendants Omar Yafai and Lee Gallagher.

Bablak-Land was charged with conspiring to supply cocaine between December 2021 and January 2022.

He also faced charges of being concerned in the supply of cocaine (a Class A drug), cannabis and ketamine (both Class B drugs) between October 2021 and January 2022.

He was also accused of offering to supply LSD between November 2021 and January 2022.

He pleaded guilty to all charges.

Gallagher, 36, of Penmaesglas Road in Aberystwyth, pleaded not guilty to conspiring to supply cocaine between December 2021 and January 2022, being concerned in the supply of cocaine between the March 19 and 30, 2021, and possessing cocaine on March 31, 2021.

His barrister, Akaal Sidhu, said he had been expecting Gallagher to plead guilty to the possession charge, and said the defendant denied being involved in the supply of drugs and was simply in possession of the drugs.

When asked to clarify his plea on the possession charge, Gallagher repeated his not guilty plea.

The prosecution alleged that Gallagher’s DNA was found on a bag of cocaine found on one of his co-defendants.

Yafai, 35, of Camelot Way in Birmingham, will return to court in two weeks to enter his pleas.

He is charged with concealing, transferring or removing criminal property – relating to bank transfers worth a total of £43,680.50 from Gallagher between November 2019 and January 2021. The prosecution allege this money was from the sale of Class A drugs.

A trial for Gallagher, and Yafai should he plead not guilty, will be held from January 31, 2024.

Bablak-Land, and Yafai if he pleads guilty, will be sentenced after the trial.

“I will order a report. It goes only to the length [of sentence],” Judge Paul Thomas said.

All three defendants were re-granted bail.
