THREE men have admitted their involvement in an alleged drugs gang which supplied cocaine and cannabis in Ceredigion – while a fourth has denied all charges.

Hawre Ahmed, Karwan Jabari, Kastro Omar and Daban Khalil appeared in the dock at Swansea Crown Court facing drug supply charges dating back to August last year.

They were accused of, with others, conspiring to supply cocaine between August 1, 2022, and August 23, 2023, and conspiring to supply cannabis between August 1 and December 31 last year.

Jabari, 26, Weedon Court in Northampton; Khalil, 23, Streetly Road in Stockland Green in Birmingham; and Omar, 29, Junction Road in Northampton, pleaded guilty to each of the charges, while Ahmed, 34, of Pinderfields Road in Wakefield, pleaded not guilty to both.  

Ahmed will now face a trial beginning on February 19, alongside co-defendants Luqman Jarjis, 18, of Wake Green Road in Springfield in Birmingham, Toana Ahmad, 33, of Lee Gardens in Smethwick, and Diar Zabari, 34, of Bryn Road in Brynmill in Swansea. Any remaining defendants who plead not guilty will also be tried on this date.

Jabari, Khalil and Omar will be sentenced after the trial alongside their co-defendants Davinder Singh, 36, of Huntingdon Road in West Bromwich, Saman Aziz, 40, of Kirk Road in Litherland in Merseyside, and Walid Younis, 33, of St Anne’s Road in Doncaster, as well as any other of the defendants who plead guilty.
