CONCERNS have been raised over the fitness to plead of a man accused of having a knife in public.
Trevor Evans, 23, of Gorsgoch, was charged with having a knife in public in Talgarreg, on Tuesday, October 17.
The charge related to a steak knife with a five-inch serrated blade.

He appeared at Swansea Crown Court on November 13 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
However, defence counsel Matthew Murphy said there were “issues over his fitness to plead”, and asked for a report in to this to prepared.
Judge Paul Thomas KC granted this application, and the case was adjourned until January 2.
