David Singh, defending, said previous concerns over Evans’ fitness to enter a plea had now been resolved.

He asked for sentencing to be adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Judge Catherine Richards ordered that a report is made, and remanded Evans back in to custody until his sentencing date of December 14.
